As for the movie, I say this in all seriousness, but it's still the best thing Singer has ever done. It takes some kind of twisted freak to make a campy movie about the Holocaust.

As a teenager, I LOVED Brad Renfro - this was a kid who at like 15 managed to portray deep emotions as Huckleberry Finn opposite Jonathan Taylor Thomas in a lightweight Disney flick. And it all too obviously came from a painful childhood....so, no shocker, but SUCH a loss. Same age as James Dean when he died.
