The actresses who have the luxury of being heinous bitches without a cause generally waited until they became nearly indispensable and for the most part, they are talented and liked. You are no Reese, Angelina, Drew, Cameron, Renee, Sandra, Jodie or Nicole. You are a shitty actresses on a shitty show. Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson are incredibly underrated actresses who would be wise to leave that sinking ship.

The movie was a flippin' COMEDY! It was supposed to be as outrageous as it could possibly be. That's what made it so successful. It was about the most unbelieveable scenario possible. I have no doubts that there are many men that live day-to-day just like Seth Rogen's character. Just like I have no doubts there are just as many women out there like Katherine's. Would they "hook up" & end up any different than the characters in the movie? Doubt it! If Hollywood put out movies that were as predictable as our day-to-day lives, they wouldn't be doing much business.

When she publicly admits that Grey's Anatomy was sub-mediocre crap and gives a heartstopping performance in something, I will officially trumpet any condemnation of this town's continuing minimization of humanizing female roles on screen. Until then, hers is much ado about biting a feeding hand.

Oh, and all you people throwing your Interwebs support behind Kitkat should also know that actors and actresses who prove their talent also employ their own dialogue writers. Holly Hunter is one of quite a few female actors who often notoriously rewrites her entire character during any given production. If only Heigl were part of some sort of wide-appeal project seen by tons of men and women, have longevity on DVD, and elevate her above the status of a bit player on a shitty primetime soap...

I am wondering if those of you calling her a hypocrite know what it's like to be an actor. You take work because it's work, and you do have your own thoughts about scripts, but as an actor you don't usually get to influence in any way to change things. It's not hypocritical. It's the job. If you waited around for scripts that fit your world view perfectly, you'd never work. It is absolutely valid for Katherine to have those opinions about a film she was in (and she's completely right about Knocked Up.

I think it's just incredibly unusual that you hear actors (especially women) speaking their true mind about projects they've been in. This woman seems to be be opinionated and outspoken, and I admire that about her. It's probably going to get her into some trouble, but who cares? Good for her.

Since most big-budget movies feature incredibly sexist portrayals of women, your choice is to either suck it up and take a role in a movie that you're not 100% in love with or stay on the B-list.
