Sorry I can't stand back and watch a truly incredible true story be maligned by some well meaning knucklehead. The old coot does own the house and a bunch of other craftsmans/victorians in the neighborhood..True-Murray is a real creepy guy, who coincidentally happens to resemble a magician of sorts- we sometimes refer to him as merlin...but people do live in that house,though they don't own it (they call it renting)..just drive by and check the mail slot(actually just look from the street..no wait just take my word for it)...My friend W has been there for awhile now. While I appreciate the zealousness of your readers, this story is most certainly true. P.s You spent 6 hours chatting with Murray? Cheers

I know Murray and he actually rents the top floor of the Charmed house so while it's used as a set quite frequently, the upstairs is kept as a separate apartment for tenants. Although it sounds like a crazy story there may be some truth in it... The street the house is on (Carroll Avenue) is also where they filmed "Thriller".
