Decided to take this talk here and end it there. I still say that no one was necessarily calling anyone here (on this thread) a moron. I read it (and agreed) that those who believe the world is flat, those who believe that God is for the pipeline, etc, are morons. And ok, moron is a derisive and insulting term. And we shouldn't mock or insult. I get it. However the fact that this current admin. lies within these fundamental beliefs and have taken the US where we are today is infuriating. And the fact that the majority of voters just may vote for these same ideals IS moronic. Not in a "you're a big stupid dumb jerk" way, but in an uneducated, ignorant, "I truly believe that God wants our dominance and science is bad" sort of way.

I am all for cultural diversity and religious freedom, obvs. Believe you me. And I believe in respecting the differing beliefs of every group. But what happens when we are expected to respect the beliefs of groups that believe just the opposite of this? And that this group is currently in control of the US? And may be again because the majority of voters BUY what they're selling?

I believe one shouldn't act based on emotion, but on logic. But I am struggling to maintain respect. It's hard.

I am fine and so are the other Gulf Coast Jezzies. We've been texting and twittering. Now we just want power so we can go home!

Okay? I'm not the only one that went OT in that post, and not even the first, and I think I kept it pretty simple.

"There's a polar bear/In our Frigidaire/He likes it 'cause it's cold in there!"

Your classic elephant joke immediately reminded me of one of the first Shel Silverstein poems I ever heard, but it felt to non-sequiturish to post on that crazy thread. :-)

Oho dude, things are simmering to a boil in here.

Hey, hey, HEY! It is wildly INAPPROPRIATE to imply that I am an expert on codpieces.
A collection of 15-20 lightly used pieces does not an expert make!
