"Because of a recent inheritance from my beloved grandmother a few years ago ( :( ) and from my mother in law last month (moved from home to condo) my house if filled with antiques dating from mid 18th century to depression era furniture and 'objets' + my penchant for picking up things in antique stores in New England, New Orleans and Europe (pre-current wall street meltdown, seriously) has made my house (just bought in July 2007) a mix of antique and vintage with modern. I am absolutely mad for that Moroccan door and think everything stylish and elegant but the colors and lack of 'funky je ne sais quoi' leaves me cold."
