"For what it's worth, I actually held my nose and paid to see this last night, which generally goes against my longstanding policy on anything involving Tom Cruise, but felt that I had to, as I've spent a lot of time studying WWII, and I can honestly say that I don't regret it. It's a good movie, even in spite of Colonel OT VIII. As for Friedman's complaint about arm bands, these people are Wehrmacht officers, not members of the SS or NSDAP apparatchiks, arm bands weren't part of their uniforms.
