Britney Spears: The Last Thing You'll Ever See

There is absolutely nothing that we could write about the above sculpture, artist Daniel Edwards' "Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston," that could possibly top the prose in this section of the press release:

"Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston," believed Pro-Life's first monument to the 'act of giving birth,' is purportedly an idealized depiction of Britney in delivery. Natural aspects of Spears' pregnancy, like lactiferous breasts and protruding naval, compliment a posterior view that depicts widened hips for birthing and reveals the crowning of baby Sean's head.

Click on the above image to release a spray of boiling bleach from your monitor, assuring that you'll never again have to view anything that asks you to contemplate the crowning of something from Spears' vagina.

  • If anything, it looks more to me like an ad for abortion.

  • It's over. We can all go home. "Artist" Daniel Edwards has won the Internet, lost his immortal soul and assured the destruction of the human race. Thanks, Daniel. No, really. Thanks.

  • ... This is a joke. Right? "The monument also acknowledges the pop-diva's pin-up past by showing Spears seductively posed on all fours atop a bearskin rug with back arched, pelvis thrust upward, as she clutches the bear's ears with 'water-retentive' hands." This must be a joke. Unless there's some kind of conspiracy to conceal how incredibly sexual women feel while painfully expelling a human being they've been gestating for nine months. (Damn pro-abortion lesbians!)

Puhleeze....that Tricep, and Delt definition is TOTALLY exaggerated.

  • didn't she have a c-section? obviously this artist neither reads us weekly nor people magazine.

  • oh god it burns

Shitty artist. Face is all wrong. It looks more like Linda Purl, '70s TV actress who played the Fonz's girlfriend. Good God, could it actually be Henry Winkler's spawn she's shooting out?

  • This reminds me of that Lionel Ritchie bust creation for his video "Hello." Oddly, both sculptures disturb me in the same way.

  • Doncha think the face looks a bit like Ashley Judd?

  • I can't imagine it's that accurate a depiction of her giving birth. I would have believed it if she were squatting over a bucket.

  • Good call Sleepyhead! I couldn't quite put my finger on it...wait, I don't wanna touch that bust... Oh, this'll never sound right.

  • how big is it? how much can i buy it for? (it would go great with my luke perry life-size figurine) and can we get a rear view? omg, this is incredible

  • I'm calling 'lame publicity stunt' on this. It's for a Williamsburg gallery. I'm thinking the artist is a Hipster and thought it would be funny.

  • Interesting that they failed to take a photo from the one angle everyone's really curious about...

  • Bubba, I hope so. That thing is truly disturbing.
