TMZ has clearly gone insane with their ongoing efforts to destroy Donda West's suspiciously under-credentialed plastic surgeon, Dr. Jan Adams, having now turned their witchhunt towards daytime deity Oprah Winfrey.
Winfrey's production company has finally offered them a statement concerning the doctor's 2003 appearance on her program, maintaining the Larry King blueballs-facilitator was brought on purely as the host of Discovery Channel's Plastic Surgery: Before and After, and not as a surgeon, therefore not warranting a background check. Still, Oprah did mention to an audience member interested in having some work done, "We may know somebody." The off-hand remark is looped at the :47 point for maximum goofy-sounding/damning effect—a blasphemous editing choice sure to cause a torrent of hellfire to rain upon the TMZ headquarters, one of the exalted talk show host's favorite skin-melting things.

I can't risk a snarky comment for fear that I'll end up in the re-education camps along with the TMZ staff.
TMZ blew it! To really vilify someone, you need a third loop in slo-mo! "Weeee maaaay knoooow someeeeboooooody-eeeeeee."

It seems TMZ is making a huge deal about the fact that Dr. Adams is not board-certified as if that's such a major red flag.
Many plastic surgeons are not board-certified. No one's making a big deal about Dr. Rey (He of the hit show Dr. 90210 and skin care line at Sears) not being board-certified. That's right ladies, Dr. 90210 is NOT board-certified! Look it up.
(I would totally recommend going to a board-certified surgeon for any procedures, though.)
Has everyone forgotten James Frey? Oprah isn't infallible.
How about the time she got locked out of Hermes in Paris and referred to it as the most devastating experience of her life? Really? Not being able to buy a $3,000 handbag at the time of your choosing is that upsetting?
I still cannot understand how Oprah even got so big...no pun intended.
@SteamyMcFirecrotch: Well, Dr. 90210 is getting sued by his own sister for doing something awful to their brother, so...that don't help much either.

I'll know a doctor is TRULY FINE when I see Miss Oprah (or her bff Gayle King) sitting in the waiting room. And you know that Miss O don't go to a doctor with an office and an operating room above a strip mall.
not to be a total jerk - but didn't the patient that died come to see Dr. Adams after other surgeon(s)? sent her away as a bad surgical candidate?
so - if you ignore the advice - and keep looking around you will find someone who will do it (look at Michael Jackson).
That doesn't completely absolve the doc - but it tells me that maybe the patient wasn't as upfront as she could have been.
...they did the autopsy... so maybe the surgery didn't kill her?
