  • Tom/Ed/Lovemonkey Cavanagh may be on his way to setting a new record for TV show mulligans. But this could prove helpful to show developers, who could then name his 2009 shot "Mulligan," should this "Truth in Advertising" miss the mark. If "Truth" is about what it sounds like it's about, viz., yuppies at an ad agency, then it'll fare as well as Fox's "The $treet." "Mulligan" can be about a guy who requires slightly too much effort to appear straight, compassionate, and normal; despite the confidence of his superiors that he'll eventually win people over, he hilariously fails to overcome the fact that he looks creepily like Cesar Romero's joker.

  • You mean "I Hate Valentine's Day" isn't going to be based on the Bennett Madison book? Truly one of my favorite pieces of bathroom reading.
