Matthew Broderick seemed to be disappointed by the poster for his new film, Finding Amanda, at the Tribeca Film Festival. At first, Broderick asked if he had to pose in front of it, then start to wonder why his picture was so far in the background and seemingly out of focus. The film's publicist shrugged his shoulders and said, "Legs sell movies these days." Broderick sighed, then brought up the poster for Ferris Bueller's Day Off. "No sexy girls in that poster. Just my good old face and look at it, that thing is a classic. Probably in dorm rooms everywhere. This one, maybe it'll go up in the room of the creepy guy from the video store and that's about it."

Brittany looks embarrassed, and Matthew is wondering why they decided to put Al Gore on the poster.
Wow. That poster is like, 16 kinds of awful.
@heidiho: I thought it was Christopher Hitchens.
"Well at least I got first billing."
Is it the legs, or the peek-a-boo shot of her upper thighs?
(Because, eh, that's what I first noticed, then I looked at the picture)
I thought the guy laughing was Xander from "Buffy"
Sometimes I wonder if Hollywwod makes movies so they wont make any money, that poster wont sell any tickets.
Guys are not going to flock to theaters to see this even if her legs a prominently featured in the poster they need to redo it.
This is how you have to do it put Broderick closer to the front, change her position from sitting down showing her legs show her from the waist up because your target are women not man, very few women will go see this movie when it looks target it to men.
Thank you
"Asshole marketing department gave me Keira Knightley's thighs, dammit!"
It makes me sad that Matthew, or anyone else for that matter, would still have a poster from Ferris Buehler on the wall of their dorm room. I smell desperation in this room and it ain't teen spirit!
Oh yeah, looking at her body language(limp wrist, fawning smile, stance indicates she's trying to take it all in)while viewing the poster, she is particularly disturbed that they made it look like movie starring Kate Hudson and Al Gore.
Finding Amanda; the new romantic comedy about finding solutions to the earths lack of panties.
(i love the guy laughing btw, "Haha you eediots!")
@potohead1: I almost had a stroke, but then I didn't... @SanFranBetsu: And then I did.
As someone who has never been anywhere near a marketing class/job/anything, this poster is all kinds of wrong and both of them know it.
what a crappy tagline
Her hed is pasted on!111
awful title. awful poster. has go to be an awful film.
but hey, i think i see her snatch.
This movie looks even less interesting than "Finding a Panda."
this is the result of letting stoners in the marketing dept play eenie, meenie, miney, moe.
